Enough has been happening within the last two weeks to keep me busy and tired… and sleepless. First things first, strangers have been dragging their dirty shoes through my living-room/thinking-lounge, under the guise of potentially becoming my new landlord/overlord. Since I live in a basement apartment, and my current landlord lives above me, I refer to him as the overlord. Long story short, he abruptly decided to sell the house one day and now I have to put up with the aftermath of that decision. It has been an unpleasant ordeal, and I hope to be through with it soon.
So, with all the commotion, little privacy, and unfinished commissions with approaching deadlines, I’ve had little time to do much else but scribble and scrawl into the wee hours of the night. It’s funny because I had a good head start at the beginning of the month, which I suppose is not so much funny as it is annoying. The images below are the unfinished pieces that I am making a concerted effort to finish by Friday for an upcoming art exhibit at the Shoppers’ World Mall, in Brampton, Ontario, entitled “Fin, Fur and Feathers”. There’s no question that I’ll have them done; I kind of have to after this article that was written about me in the local paper: http://www.bramptonguardian.com/localprofile/article/1031206–animals-at-artway-for-july
